Joseph H. Watson Jr., Major, USAF (Retired)
April 09, 1931 – September 03, 1997
Joseph Henry Watson Jr., 66, of Scottsdale, a retired Air Force veteran, died Sept. 3, 1997.
He was born in Atlanta and was a Korean and Vietnam wars military veteran. He also flew helicopters in forest firefighting operations.
Survivors include his ex-wife, Laura; daughter, Maureen; son, Joe; sisters, Mildred and Evelyn; and two grandchildren.
Services: 11 a.m. Saturday, Scottsdale Senior Center, 7375 E. Second St., Scottsdale, AZ 85251.

Major Watson served in the Vietnam War served as a HH-43F pilot with Det. 8, 38th ARRS in the 1967-time frame.
