1972 – 1974 with the 58th TFW as a UH-1P pilot.

1974 – 1975 with the 40th ARRS as a HH-53C aircraft commander and instructor pilot on the Night Recovery System.

1975 – 1983 with the 20th SOS as a UH-1N instructor pilot and flight examiner an on H/MH-53C/H/J Pave Low instructor and flight examiner pilot.

1986 – 1990 with 20th SOS as Director of Operations, Commander and with HQs AFSOC as a MH-53M instructor pilot, flight examiner pilot.
