Harold T. Welch Jr., Lt. Colonel, USAF (Retired)
July 06, 1916 – August 30, 2006

Harold T. Welch, 90, of Wichita Falls, died Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2006, in Wichita Falls.

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Lunn’s Colonial Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Steve Robertson officiating.

Mr. Welch was a retired Air Force Colonel (pilot)

Survivors include wife Peggy K. Welch; seven children, Phil Welch of Pewaukee, Wis., Bud Welch of Irving, Texas, Jan Schaaf of Wichita Falls, Jack Helmcamp, of Wichita Falls, Lisa Johnson of Denver, Colo., and Kim Womble of Wichita Falls; brother, Bill Welch of Columbus, Ohio; 15 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Boys and Girls Club of Wichita Falls.

Lt. Colonel Welch served in the Vietnam War as a CH-3E pilot with the 21st SOS in the 1969-1970-time frame.
