Sidney J. Whitebread, Major, USAF (Retired)
May 24, 1928 – January 16, 2002
Sidney Jack Whitebread, 73, of Littleton, a retired Air Force major, died Wednesday, January 16, 2002.
A service will be at 11 a.m. today at Denver First Church of the Nazarene, 3800 E. Hampden Ave. There will be cremation.
He was born May 24, 1928, in Abilene, Kan. On Oct. 14, 1956, he married Joyce E. Londene in Abilene. His interests included restoring cars and fishing.
He is survived by his wife; five daughters, Thalia Kay Reid, St. Louis, Lorri Peters, Monett, Mo., and Linda, Nancy and Tiffani, all of Littleton; a brother, Robert, Arlington, Texas; and five grandchildren.

Major Whitebread served in the Vietnam War as a HH-43F pilot with the 38th ARRS (time frame unkn).
