A short biography detailing your military service.

USAF OTS graduate in 1979; USAF Helicopter Flight School graduate in 1979; First operational assignment at Det. 1, 38th ARRS and later 40th ARRS at Homestead AFB; UH-1N instructor pilot at Det. 1; UH-1N pilot at the 1st Helicopter Sq.; UH -1N pilot at the 4460th Helicopter Sq until disbanded in 1987. Never attended USAF fixed wing training for USAF helicopter pilots. Moved to the USCG and flew the HH-65 for four (4) years at USCG Air Station New Orleans. With the drawdown following the end of the Cold War moved to fly for the PA Army National Guard and later the MD Army National Guard. Retired after 22 years and 9 months total miliary service in 2001. Earned two (2) Air Force Commendation Medals.
