1979 – 1983, at Shaw AFB, SC. with the 703rd TASS as a Pilot, IP/SEFE on the CH-3E’s.

1983 – 1986, at Kadena AB, Japan with the 33rd Aerospace Rescue and Recovery Squadron on the HH-3E’s.

1986 – 1987, at Kirtland AFB, NM. with the 1551st Technical Training Squadron as an IP/FEAC on the C/HH-3E’s.

1987 – 1988, at Shaw AFB, SC. with the 703rd TASS (closed down the unit) as a IP on the CH-3E’s.

1988 – 1992, at Scott AFB, IL. in Rated Supplement with HQ. MAC, later HQ. AMC.

1992 – 1996, At Andrews AFB, MD. with the 1st Helicopter Squadron as a Pilot, IP, on the UH-1N’s.

1996 – 1998, at Ft. Rucker, AL. as Unit Commander of the 23rd Flying Training Flight and Pilot, IP/FEAC on the UH-1H’s.

1998 – 2000, at Kirtland AFB, NM. as Unit Commander of the 512th Special Operations Squadron and Pilot, IP/FEAC on the UH-1N’s and HH-60G’s.

2000 – 2002, at Keflavik NAS, Iceland as Deputy Group Commander of the 85th Group and as a Pilot on HH-60G’s.

2002 – 2004, at HQ. USAF Pentagon, Washington, D.C. as Division Chief Personnel Recovery and Special Missions.
