From Angelo Romano @ Scanmaster
I’m sorry to have to inform you my heartbreaking news that on Tuesday, 8th October, Sid lost his short battle with cancer.
Sids funeral service will be on Friday 25th October at St. Mary’s Church in Thirsk at 12:00 pm followed by refreshments at Thirsk Royal British Legion.
Family flowers only.
A donation link for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance will be available soon.
Beyond being a Friend, Sid has been my a/c history cards guru for many years. I never met him in person but I always felt his passion for USN/USMC helicopters history was a great mean to strengthen our relationship. He never missed one of my calls for help for identification of no matter which helo or airplane.
RIP Sid,
Angelo
